October 20th, 2021 – A meeting of the board of HOTAM was held in Hotel Metropol Ohrid at which a decision was made to prepare and send a letter to the Government  requesting a new set of measures for support of the hospitality/hotel sector in order to overcome the crisis caused by Covid-19 in the upcoming period November 2021 – March 2022.  All present at the meeting agreed that due to the Covid-19 crises most of the businesses will end the year with losses and surviving the winter period will be a difficult challenge for all of them. Having agreed on this, a decision was made to prepare a request letter with suggested measures for support of the hospitality business which would be sent to the Government and the concerned Ministries.
